-CHECK OUT “SAM SIMS RADIO” ON PANDORA-
Bio – Sam has been writing and playing his songs for two decades. Born in Alabama, he recently returned to New Jersey from Florida and is now solely focusing on his music career. Over the past year his songs were licensed with three different music-publishing companies and placed on Pandora Radio. Sam’s fourth cd, Into the Blue, which is his favorite work to date, will be released in mid June.
Sam performs on guitar, ukulele, and harmonica with an eclectic style that incorporates Folk, Hawaiian, Soul, and Rock. Many of the songs have an island flavor inspired by the ocean, sun, moon and stars. Some of Sam’s musical influences include Van Morrison, David Gray and Jack Johnson.
Message from Sam- 2013 has been an amazing year so far! Many wonderful things are happening and my newest cd, Into the Blue, will soon be available for presale on iTunes. We are also looking forward to the Songwriting Festival in Nashville later this month.
Thank you again to all my friends and fans for your support and love.
Thoughts – Truth comes from deep within, which is why a soulful power is reflected in my songwriting. I believe the purity of music is often seen in the midst of our outside influences. An open mind to new ideas is critical for global consciousness. I have no doubt that love creates a better world, and music will help guide that path. Everyday we have a new opportunity to create peace in the world.
2013 Album “Into the Blue” – Sam’s truest and most organic album yet, reflecting his ever-evolving songwriting skills. 2012 was a pivotal year for Sam and his journey is reflected in this compilation of heartfelt songs.
2011 Album “Moments” – This album embraces the concept of being present and living in the moment. Often we are distracted by what is to come, or what has already transpired. The only way to fully live is to enjoy the here and now.
2009 Album “Neon Signs” – This album is full of heart- warming and evocative lyrics and melodies. It features many of Sam’s most popular live songs such as “Hula girl” and “Spread your love”. The album has received great reviews and has airplay on local and underground stations.
