Thoughts Pure music must come from deep within. There is a spiritual power that reflects into the songs that I write. The purity of music is often seen in between the outside influence that distracts from the acoustics…and being open-minded to new ideas is critical to global consciousness. Love creates a better world and music will help guide that path. Everyday we have that chance…

2011 Album “Moments” – This latest release is available on iTunes, CDBaby, and so on…

2009 Album “Neon Signs” This album is full of heart warming and evocative lyrics, and melodies. It features many of Sam’s most popular live songs such as “Hula girl” and “Spread your love”. The album had good reviews and has airplay on some local and underground stations. CDs and downloads are available world wide from CDBaby, iTunes, and DigStation.

Bio Sam started seriously playing music at age 14. The songs written and performed by Sam represent an eclectic mix  played on the guitar, ukulele, and harmonica. Sam is influenced by a variety of musical styles such as folk-rock, pop, reggae, blues, Hawaiian, slack key, alt-rock, and bluegrass. Many of the tunes have an island-folk flavor that’s inspired by the ocean, sun, and stars. A few of Sam’s musical influences are Brett Dennen, Van Morrison, David Grey, Jim Croce, Pearl Jam, Tracy Chapman, IZ, Willie Nelson, Nick Drake, Ben Harper, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Eric Clapton, Albert King, Jimi Hendrix, Jack Johnson, and many of the local musicians from the Jersey Shore such as DC Fisher and Matt Kay.
